Semi Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil 15W-40

A semi synthetic diesel engine oil at SAE 15W-40, formulated to meet API CI-4.

15W-40 is the most widely used heavy-duty diesel grade worldwide. API CI-4 covers four-stroke diesel engines including those using exhaust gas recirculation, with soot handling and wear control as its defining requirements.

A semi synthetic base gives greater thermal stability than a straight mineral oil at the same grade.

Supplied in 5 litre packs. High-soot duty shortens oil life — follow the drain interval the engine manufacturer specifies rather than a fixed figure.
