4T Four-Stroke Motorcycle Engine Oil 10W-40

A four-stroke motorcycle engine oil at SAE 10W-40, supplied in 1 litre packs.

A four-stroke motorcycle shares one oil between the engine, the gearbox and — on most machines — a wet clutch. That makes friction behaviour part of the specification: an oil carrying the friction modifiers intended for cars can cause clutch slip in a wet-clutch motorcycle.

10W-40 is the grade most commonly specified for four-stroke motorcycles.

4T and 2T oils are not interchangeable. Check your machine’s handbook for the grade and for any JASO clutch requirement before filling.
